This website is
intended to help
me continue passing
on my message
on behalf of Government
of which I form
part of. Information
Technology has
become an essential
tool in today's
world, and it
is for this reason
that I decided
to start communicating
with you using
also this technology.
The year 2006
was a successful
year for my
office and for
me in my capacity
of Parliamentary
Secretary within
the Ministry
of Finance.
I had the opportunity
to work not
only with the
Prime Minister
Lawrence Gonzi
and the Cabinet
of Ministers,
but also with
a number of
Finance Ministers
of the European
Union, and other
diplomatic representatives
in the international
arena.
It was a year
in which I continued
working hard
on the Mater
Dei Hospital
project, on
the process
for introducing
the Euro currency,
on the project
of Dar Malta
in Brussels,
and on other
projects amongst
others. But,
yet for another
year, my biggest
satisfaction
was derived
from the fact
that I drew
up the government's
budget for the
year 2007 together
with the Prime
Minister - a
budget which
will reward
all of us for
all the sacrifices
we have made
in these past
years in the
interest of
our country
and of all ourselves.
I hope that
during the coming
year, I will
continue working
in the best
interest of
our country
as I always
did.
